Want to have Chick-Fil-A sauce ready and waiting whenever you want (ie: Sundays) – well now your saucy dreams have come true! …..Hmm, that didn’t come out right…..

So many things to dip, so few good sauces. I’m telling you, this sauce is a huge favorite of mine – a little sweet, a little tangy, a little savory, and a lotta creamy.

I was so excited to find out that you can now buy Chick-Fil-A sauce in stores, but what if you could MAKE it yourself? With stuff you already have?? Double bonus.

Gather It

Easy, everyday ingredients:

  • Mayo
  • Honey
  • BBQ Sauce
  • Yellow Mustard
  • Paprika (optional)
  • White Vinegar (optional, but it cuts the creaminess a little and gives a little tang)
  • Bowl
  • Spoon or Whisk

Tip: When choosing a BBQ sauce, the plainer the better. Otherwise your Chick-Fil-A sauce will lean towards the profile of your BBQ sauce instead of tasting like the original Chick-Fil-A sauce. BUT, that would also be a fun thing to experiment with if you wanted to!

The same idea with your mustard – in this recipe, plain yellow mustard is best! FINALLY a thing I like plain yellow mustard in! P.S. I hate plain yellow mustard.

Make It

Just like a lot of my recipes, this one is super simple, just the way I like it!

  • 1/2 cup Mayo
  • 2 T Honey
  • 2 T BBQ Sauce
  • 2 tsp Yellow Mustard
  • Pinch of Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Vinegar

Measure your ingredients, add them to a bowl, and mix!

Look at that deliciousness. #Drool.

What Goes With Homemade Chick-Fil-A Sauce?

I’m tempted to say EVERYTHING, but truth be told, ice cream with a drizzle of Homemade Chick-Fil-A sauce might be a little weird……OR WOULD IT.

Here’s some normal ideas:

  • Your favorite chicken nuggets (these Just Bare Chicken Nuggets from Costco are my all time fav AND kinda taste like Chick-Fil-A nuggets)
  • Waffle fries
  • Sweet Potato fries
  • Any kind of fries
  • Drizzled on a burger or chicken sandwich
  • Any type of meat, really
  • Tater Tots
  • Eaten with a spoon

Eat It!

This Homemade Chick-Fil-A sauce comes together in under 5 minutes and makes about 1 cup. Store it in your fridge for up to 2 weeks for some on-demand dipping, though I doubt it’ll survive that long!
